Pie Boxes?

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could buy bakery-style pie boxes. I know I can get them online, but was hoping there would be something more local. Kitchen supply store? Verna's? Any help is appreciated!

  1. Check iParty and Michael's craft stores in their cake decorating section (if you don't need many). You'll have to pay more than you thought if they have them.

    1. The Restaurant Depot in Needham. You need to join or go with someone who is a member but you need a federal id number to join.

      1. AC Moore also has them. You can print weekly coupons for Michael's and AC Moore online, which should save you some $.

This is great information, thanks everyone! I definitely only need a few, since I'm not a professional - just looking for an easy way to give some as holiday gifts. Michael's or AC Moore will be my best bet, I think, and it will be worth the premium since online it's $9 for 10...but another $9 in shipping.

        2. You can coax the bakery department at some Whole Foods locations to sell you a few, if you ask nicely. They're like a buck a piece or so.

If you're anywhere near Middleboro, you could try Cirelli Marketplace. Or you could just buy a bunch of pies and use the boxes, discarding the contents as you see fit.
