Melbourne - Palm Bay recommendations for boss

r
RoadTripWithKayaks Nov 17, 2009 01:52 PM

My boss is taking his wife, daughter and son-in-law out for dinner in the greater Palm Bay -Melbourne area tomorrow night. They are self-proclaimed "foodies". Any recommendations?

Thanks

The Yellow Dog Cafe on the Indian River gives them a chance to dine indoors or out on the deck. Continental Flambe is in downtown Melbourne & has a menu that used to be called (obviously) "continental". I haven't been there, but I've seen a lot of good reviews for Chameleon Fusion Bistro. While its a little north of the area you specified, Cafe Margaux in Cocoa serves some really outstanding food. The links for all of these are below.

A little info could be handy.

A "foodie" might think the finest taco wagon in town hits the spot,or the fried catfish at the best airboat place in the inland river/swamps

Also, location and how far they may wish to travel.

Melbourne-Palm Bay could be an hour trip.
