New Japanese in S. Asheville?

So I went to the post office on Hendersonville Rd the other day and lo and behold someone has filled Luellas old space. The restaurant is called Izumi. I try and keep up with new openings but haven't heard anything about this new venture. A quick peek as I drove by looked like the interior counters hadn't changed much. Smells were more like chinese than japanese, deep fry and garlic smells. Thinking it might be more on the fast food side then formal sit down. Anyone have the lowdown?

I've been twice, and, yes, it is more of a fast-food type place. It's good for what it is, an inexpensive place to grab a quick lunch. The people are very friendly and helpful, and the prices are excellent for the amount of food provided. (I think I paid $6.75 for hibachi shrimp, which included a ton of fried rice, lots of shrimp, and carrots.) It's not somewhere I'd go on a regular basis, but it's a nice change for lunch during the work week.
