crawfish season comes earlier and earlier

FWIW, some pond-raised crawfish are starting to hit the market. This weekend, boiled were selling for $5/pound way out in the country.

Anyone know if Frankie & Johnny's has them yet? We're coming to town on Dec. 10 and are looking for a good place to eat crawfish.

    Thanks!

A few vendors at the "shrimp lot" in Westwego had live crawfish, but I can't remember the price. I saw people eating boiled crawfish at Po-Boy Fest too.

Today in St. Martinville, I saw a sign for boiled crawfish for $2.99/lb. I don't think that is bad for this early in the season.

This is wonderful news! Crawfish is my favorite seafood. Never get enough of them.

Saw a sign for boiled crawfish at a seafood place on Dowman Rd. I can't remember the price, maybe 3.59 or 4.50 a lb.
