South Slope dessert place

Looking for recommendations for a coffee and dessert place within walking distance of 6th Avenue and 14th Street for a Saturday night. I've been to The Chocolate Room and would be happy with something less - less of a scene, less crowded, less rich (I went a while ago so not sure if this is still the case). Just really looking for a cozy place with a variety of tasty baked goods where we could linger. Easy access to the subway a plus.

How about the new Almondine on 9th Street just below 7th Ave?

I'm not familiar with Almondine. I only saw an Almondine on the web located on Water Street. That one looked great, so if 9th Street is a new location, it sounds perfect

Almondine closes at 7 p.m. I'm looking for something open till at least 10 p.m. or so on a Saturday night. Any other ideas?

Not a dessert place per se, but I had a delicious dessert at Lot 2 last week. They are on 6th Ave between 19th and 20th Sts. Great dinner, too. They have their liquor license now, so you could have a drink with it, if you wanted, and/or sit at the bar. They are defintely open late on weekends.

I wish I could find a dessert place in the slope too. We usually eat dessert (if we are) at the restaurant and wish we could find some place that is not a bar to go to afterwards. Was hoping the new Almondine was open later.
