Mom in town for Thanksgiving - need suggestions

My mom's coming to town for Thanksgiving weekend and I need places to take her, preferably in West Hollywood and vicinity (but Santa Monica/Venice OK too). She is not what you'd call an adventurous eater - basically, whatever the menu features, she's going to order the chicken and a green salad. Where can I take her that will satisfy her middle-of-the-road preferences with my own foodie desires? She's already been to Jar, Campanile, and JiRaffe, all of which she liked, but I'd like to try someplace new.

Thanks!

Melisse is wonderful. Also Lucques, Anisette and maybe Pizzeria Mozza? I know the latter might sound like an odd choice, but it's a fun place and they have good salads.

      Melisse.

If your Mom sticks her routine, she can get the rotisserie chicken (for 2). It's plated and carved tableside and is, for lack of a better description, a revelatory experience akin to experiencing a perfectly seared piece of foie gras for the first time.
