Huitlacoche
I'm both curious and terrified to try huitlacoche. I've seen it on the menu at Cabrito. Does anyone know of a good place to try it. Is it even worth trying it outside of Mexico?

Unless you have mushroom-phobia, there's no reason to be afraid. I love huitlachoche. Here's a list of places that serve it; I can vouch for La Palapa, Itzocan and Toloache. Rayuela's a nice place, also, although I've not had huitlacoche there. And stay the hell out of Mole, which is lame, and a rip off.
