American "Wild" Persimmons

Have my family visiting for Thanksgiving and I want to make Persimmon Pudding, a southern Indiana family favorite. Since none of them still live in Indiana, I need to find a place where I can get American or "wild" persimmons.

I've never been able to find these; Every NYC store I've been to only stocks Asian persimmons, which don't have the same flavor. I can get some FedEx'd from Indiana, but if someone knows a local source, I'd rather go with that.
