Onigiri in Boston?
With that Japanese market in Porter gone, and no sign of the one in Medford about to open, I am starting to despair that Onigiri are gone from the Boston metro area.. those tasty little triangles of sticky rice with the o-so-convenient piece of nori tucked away in its little envelope. Are there any other places that sell onigiri around Boston, places I could conveniently find myself near when I am craving them..
Thx..
I think Cafe Japonaise in the Porter mall has a few varieties in their display case.

Yes, Cafe Japonaise has them - there are also locations in Brookline near St. Mary's (where the C line comes up from undreground) and on Comm Ave near Packard's Corner, where Kapow used to be. (I still need to stop in there!)
Also the Japanese market in Brookline Village - called something like Japanese Village Market - reportedly has onigiri.
