Went to La Thai looking for something spicy, got the red chili curry, not spicy at all.
Anybody have some rec's on hot/spicy food in this city?
Get a curry from Bangkok Thai and ask for it "Thai hot." That'll do it pretty good.

Can't remember what we ordered at the Basil Leaf but it was killer (Thai) hot.

Not sure if you mean ethnic or N.O. type food? Taj Mahal on Metairie Rd can adjust to VERY spicy, I would think Cafe Minh would also....

There's a thai place next door to Cooter Browns. They'll definitely make it hot enough for you.
I've heard La Thai is really awesome...but I"ve never been. Did you order it hot or thai hot...or were you expecting it to be hot without specifying?
Bun bo hue, with extra sriracha stirred in (at Pho Tau Bay or Tan Dinh).
