Eastie! Rosticeria Cancun and Jalisco

A friend reminded me of the truly "hole in the wall" Rosticeria Cancun in Maverick Square. It's about 6 feet wide, maybe 10 long, behind a forbidding looking door - but with fresh, delicious tortillas and lenguaheir tacos, and great pupusas - I've tried the chicharron (fried pork rind - double those statins right up!) and qincredible "queso fresco", like a very good farmer's cheese.

I'm sure there's more to explore here. Just be prepared to sit on a stool facing the wall, or take it out. In the nicer weather, it'll be great to walk down to Piers Park and picnic overlooking the Boston skyline.

Another visit to Jalisco in Day Square, and more of that rich (weekend only?) birria, like an incredibly good pot roast. I don't think we left a scrap of tortilla or anything else on our plates!
