Has anyone tried Armitage wine bar in Scottsdale?
I noticed that they have wine-tastings and I would give it a try if the good is good. What is the opinion of Chowhounds?

Please ignore the previous post. This is a decent wine bar. Not the best or most knowledgeable, but ok. The food is good if you stick to the tried and true for a wine bar - i.e. cheese plate, hummus, pizzas. Avoid the sliders, especially the ahi tuna ones at all costs!

I've enjoyed the wine flights and bruschettas...nothing too exciting, but standard fare for the area. It's a good place if you want the typical "Scottsdale" scene with decent food.

I've been there a few times. Some interesting wine selections and food is OK, not great. I didn't really enjoy my room temperature chardonnay I had last time I was there, though. Best thing about the place is the patio and the location. Try it, but don't get your hopes up too high.
