WHERE EXACTLY IS THE DEEPEST PART OF THE THIGH?

Everyone says to test the temp at the deepest, densest part of the Turkey, in the thigh. Is this in front of leg crease. behind the joint? Never figured it our. Thanks in advance.

As you're standing facing the turkey, the deepest part of the thigh is the fattest part of the leg right before it meets the breast, your side of the crease. It would actually be slightly before and above the joint, which I understand you to mean the joint that attaches the leg to the breast, not the joint between thigh and drumstick.
    Hope this helps.
