IL Castello in Mamaroneck, NY

Has anybody visited the new "Il Castello" on Mamaroneck Avenue in Mamaroneck yet? I went tonight and I really liked it. The food was very good and attentive service. Would recommend!

    Is this the place that was Il Teatro? Is it really a new restaurant or is it same place, different name? Looks exactly the same if it's where I'm thinking it is.

      yes same place as Il Teatro was. Food was ok to solid old world Italian-American. Great place to take the less daring diners. Maitre d was very gracious and attentive as was the service in general. Should do well on a street where everything else is crunchy-sushi fusion.

          had lunch again here and would now upgrade it to better than average. a real solid meal with good friendly service.
