Afternoon Tea
I'm heading to Chicago for the Christmas/New Year's Holiday and I'd love to have Afternoon Tea. I've been to the Ritz, Four Season and Fairmont. Are they still good? Different places I should try? Thoughts?

I don't do tea, but the Peninsula may be worth a try. They do everything else well.

I'm a fan of the Peninsula too. The view is uninspired but the service and the experience is top notch.

How would one dress for tea at The Penninsula?

I enjoyed tea at the Peninsula, it's solid; the tea is delicious, as one would expect, but it doesn't have the luxuriousness of the Ritz or the Four Seasons, probably because of the atmosphere. As far as attire, this is Chicago - you can go casual - nobody cares.
