spaghetti & meatballs *not gourmet*

i have woken up with a severe craving for good old fashioned american style (i.e. red sauce) spaghetti with meatballs. i don't want to drop twenty bucks on it at some fancy italian place. just a reasonably priced delicious plate of spaghetti with meatballs and maybe some garlic bread.

preferably between canal and union square, but will travel further for excellence.

thanks in advance. i could eat it for breakfast right now!

          The OP would probably have a much better chance of getting a response by posting to the Manhattan Board. This board isn't as frequently visited.

          • John's on 12th Street, Three of Cups on 1st Avenue @ 5th Street. 15 bucks or less. Failing that, most pizza places have respectable pasta with meatball dishes.
