Columbia, SC - dinner suggestions post-football?

We will be staying in the Vista area and would like somewhere for dinner and cocktails/wine Saturday night. Hoping to find somewhere with quality food but not stuffy atmosphere for two thirty-somethings!!

I like Mr. Friendly's-nice wine, fantastic food and service. Their website blogs the specials.

Terra. Just on the other side of the river. Close to the Vista. Valet parking. Not stuffy. Very good food. Nice wine list. Make reservations as soon as possible. Ask for Donna to serve you.

I wouldn't go anywhere near 5 Points after a game (or any weekend for that matter, all kids there).

My suggestion would be Hunter Gatherer. It's located between the vista and football stadium and the food is fantastic. I've never had wine or cocktails there, as it is a brewpub and I always order a pint of whatever they have on tap (I recommend the Pale Ale). The menu isn't huge, but the food is quality. The specials rotate pretty frequently (they often use local ingredients) and they've always been delicious, in my experience.

I have to second the suggestion for Mr. Friendlys! I eat here every time I find myself in Columbia. I haven't tried their wine but if it's half as good as their food it'll be a nice experience. The outside patio is a great atmosphere on a nice day- I've never eaten inside but it looks nice online.
