I'm going to be in NYC and am looking for a restaurant that serves up amazing bread pudding. Criteria: Rich, Decadent, Not overly mushy, crisp-browned top, preferable ingredients: chocolate chunks, cinnamon apples, or caramel sauce, nuts, or liquor infused sauces welcome also!

It's right in Time Square (44th St) and packed with tourists (the other location is on the Upper West Side), but the bread pudding at Carmine's is absolutely delicious - it's rich, decadent, chocolate chunks, liquor-infused sauce - about 90% of your criteria!! LOL! It's my absolute favorite bread pudding. It's the holiday season, so the line for a table might be huge, but you can get it to go.

This isn't a restaurant, but the best bread pudding I had was at Sullivan St bakery. Take it home, heat it up in the oven. realllyy delicious
