Recommendations for food in EUR, Rome
Anyone have any recommendations for food in the EUR (Esposizione Universale Roma) part of Rome? I'm also looking for a place around there to buy bottles of liquor.
Thanks!

Best wine/liquor store in Rome is CONSTANTINO...amazing wines at fair prices (if anything is fair with the dollar being so low).

I think you mean Enoteca Costantini (notice spelling) on Piazza Cavour? They have a very good selection, some of the attendants, who are all very knowledgeable, speak English and the prices are fair. But it is nowhere near EUR. I am sorry I can't give any recs for the EUR area, I don't like the area and don't go there. But if you go further in the direction of the city center, in the Garbatella part, there are some very nice simple and good trattorie and pizzerie.

I visited this area about 40 years ago. It was so sterile and bereft of any street life then. Have things changed? Is there life on the sidewalks, restaurants, cafes etc?
