Romantic Dining in Sedona

I have never been to Sedona and I am taking my girlfiriend this weekend. I need a romantic restaurant with a great view. The food and the environment is of most importance. I am sure there is a handful of restaurants that fit both descriptions. Any suggestions?

Also, we will be touring some of the local wineries. Any suggestions on local tours or some sort of planned tour?

Thank you in advance.

I would take her to Garland's Lodge up Oak Creek Canyon. You need to make reservations ASAP. It is so beautiful up there and the food is so good and the atmosphere beautiful right on the creek. Go for cocktails at 6:00, dinner is served at 7:00 and then after dinner you can go out and sit by the fire and have an after dinner drink or coffee. This is one of my most favorite places.

The most romantic spot is probably Enchantment Resort, or Cucina Rustica in the Village of Oak Creek. Either will be fantastic, and loads of atmosphere. For food alone and no atmosphere, I would try Elote Cafe on Hwy 179 near the Hillside shops. For a fun winery experience, go to the Art of Wine shop in uptown, near the Hyatt. They specialize in Az wines, and you can taste a bunch there without having to drive all over.
