I've only been to the one on West Post Road. It's OK. Frankly, something named Veracruz should have more regional dishes from that region in Mexico. But it had virtually nothing regionally specific. Same with Cancun Delights a few hundred yards away.

Agree with your point on Cancun Delights, but even absent any regional cuisine it's still mighty good chow. I especially like the carnitas with a side of plaintains.
Drove past Veracruz II for the first time yesterday and wondering whether I should add it (along with Sunshine Deli) to my tasting agenda.

yeah, the carnitas is very good at Cancun Delights... as is the goat birria, if I remember correctly.
Let me know how Veracruz II is. I should give it a try too...

I have a friend/coworker from Veracruz, Mexico who swears by the Veracruz in Mamaroneck and says they serve the food from her home area. Granted she always knows exactly what to order and in the native tongue, but I have eaten with her from there and been equally psyched.

have you eaten at the other Veracruz's? I wonder if they are related at all.

I have not, but I believe they are.
