Where can I buy a ham bone in austin?

I'm new to chowhound. have been trolling for a while for reviews, but finally cracked down needed some advice after an absurd amount of searching.

I need a ham bone. I'm making beans and cornbread, a staple comfort food and one of my favorite dishes. Is there anywhere in austin that I can request a ham bone and they wont turn me out?

    1. I've gotten one from Central Market before, although that was a couple of years ago. I've also used hamhocks for beans - you may not want that, but they're always at HEB.

ive used ham hocks before but to be honest, i hated it. you have to remove the hocks, unlike the ham bone bits, and if you dont you end up with terrible bites of disgusting surprise.

ive been told i can get hambones at fiesta? can i get a confirmation?

          • Are there any Honey Baked Ham stores in Austin?, lots of hams and bones.
