Peruvian Aji Amarillo in Woodside
Anyone know where I can find these fresh chiles?
I want to make Papas a la Huancaina.
Thanks in advance.

I would suggest trying the Pathmark on Northern Boulevard right at 43rd St. When I used to go there, they had a small Peruvian food section and I recall seeing jars full of yellow "Aji." I believe this was the same as what you are looking for only not fresh unfortunately.
I hope this was helpful in some way.
Good luck!

I think I have seen them frozen in some supermarkets, too. Possibly the Pioneer on 46th Street just south of Greenpoint Blvd?

Thanks. I will check that out. I heard a rumor about a place in Jackson Heights that might have them fresh. I will post back if that's the case.
