in Manhattan Chinatown?
It's in the Soho area of LONDON, not NYC. "He was lookin' for a place called Lee Ho Fook..."adam
But of course, but astonishingly enough, the Chinese name of NY Noodletown (which to my shame I never noticed) is (in Mandarin) Li He Fu which is apparently pronounced Lee HoFook in Cantonese. Too amusing.
Wow! If that was the name of my restaurant, I would *have* to turn around the first two words! :)
And you take the prize for best comment on this restaurant name! WZ was what came to my mind immediately.
I believe it exists in a Warren Zevon song.
Gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein . . .
Ahhhhoooo .... Werewolves of London .....
I believe the place you're looking for is NY Noodletown at 28 Bowery.
I agree. That's the Chinese name for Great New York Noodletown. Here is a photo of the place with its Chinese name on the store sign.
