Boxty in Dublin?

Will be heading to Dublin for the first time next week and have already compiled a list of possible eateries, but was wondering where good boxty can be found. Is Gallagher's Boxty House still a good place for that? Our budget is low to mid. Thanks!

I'm not aware of anywhere other than Gallagher's or Shebeen Chic who serve boxty. The problem is that local people tend not to eat it so there is very limited demand.

Shebeen Chic opened to a fanfare two years ago and have boxty on the menu. They are on South Great Georges Street not far from GBH in Temple Bar. I am not aware of any other restaurant in Dublin selling Boxty but if any body can recommend or knows other venues I would also love to hear about them. The bar in the Merchant Hotel in Belfast also sell Boxty. I had some in the spring. The fillings are interesting but the pancake had sugar added.
