Best Italian for lunch near St. James?

We're looking for a great Italian restaurant that does lunch in the general vicinity of St. James.

Any views regarding Villa Sorrento, Cielo or Pentimento?

The celebrants have rejected Kitchen a Trattoria and Casa Rustica.

A lot of people rave about Pasta Pasta in Pt Jeff, although I can't say personally.

Haven't been to Pasta Pasta for a few years, but it was always very good. Can't say I think of it as Italian, though, it's more eclectic than that.

Casa Rustica in Smithtown is very good, don't know if it's open for lunch. I used to love Pentimento for dinner, but had a very disappointing lunch there with my MIL months ago; boring menu, blah food.

Depending how casual you want to go, Branchinelli's in Smithtown has the best pizza in that area, and I think I had a very good lunch there in the dining room years ago. It's on the Smithtown Bypass, I believe.
