Venue for a group event

I'm in charge of planning an annual dinner for a non-profit group. We'll have 80 - 100 people, making us a little small for hotels, and slightly large for most restaurants.

Ideally, I'd like something with an "old school" feel -- our members are mostly in their 60s+.

Any recommendations? Hotels I've looked at seem to be extremely overpriced.

I'd try Venezia, on the waterfront, in Dorchester. Pretty place, good if somewhat predictable food, parking is free, and they have event rooms that hold up to 100 i think.
