Best Pork Chop in Houston?

My fiance is coming to town this weekend from New Orleans and is craving a good pork chop.

My online search as produced Perry's and Shade in the heights as considerations.

Any thoughts or additions? Price isn't too important, I live near West U but we are willing to travel!

Without a doubt I would choose Perrys. The pork chop is four inches thick, smoked long and slow and is the best thing on the menu at a steakhouse.

Four inches? I guess you have only been at lunch time. I really enjoy Perry's pork chops. That is where I would go. I did actually find out some people don't like it. I don't see how though.

Nilkos Nikos on Montrose has a great pork chop dinner.

I went on something of a pork chop survey about 8 months ago, trying 8-10 places. Hands down, the best chop was at Ibiza (in midtown). Super thick, tasty, and juicy. I even had it twice and it was great both times.

you might try the pork chops a short ride down the road from you on Kirby at Carrabba's.... Two per plate,, he'll be hard pressed to finish or find better... Order the off the menu shrimp and crab appetizer in addition.. Promise,, you'll both be blown away! I usually sit at the "food bar" for extra entertainment... Best seat in the house! Enjoy!
