It's a pretty nice restaurant - one of the better ones downtown and the service has been very good every time I've been there. Price is a little high for what you're getting, but not outrageous. Is there a particular reason you are focusing on this place? The bartenders are friendly there and they have some great cheese spread to go with the crackers while having a cocktail and waiting for the rest of your party. As far downtown goes, I personally prefer Vic And Anthony's at the Nugget at that price point. Lots more choices if you're willing to travel.

A really great old school steak house is the Golden Steer on Sahara just north of the strip. Red leather booths, a piano player in the lounge, and excellent beef.
Musashi is a Japanese teppan style steakhouse and sushi restaurant that is zillions of times better than a Benihanna. Good lunch and late night teppan specials. I just mentioned it in a non-strip/non-tourist LV restaurant thread.
A good drink wine and eat bread on the patio - then eventually have dinner place is Bertolini's on Sahara. The food is well prepared and service has always been very attentive.
Lots of good food on Spring Mountain. My two favorites are Cathay House for Chinese food and Pho Saigon 8 (or is it 88? pretty sure it's just 8) for a bowl of pho.-----
