Very tired question - Thanksgiving in the NW burbs?
We always have thanksgiving at home. This year we have the 80 yr old dad put in a nursing home yesterday, the pregnant daughter due the week after Thanksgiving. So I'd like to take the also 80 yr old mom and do something special, but not horrifyingly expensive. I looked at Open Table, Metromix etc. but would like any thoughts based on experiences. So..Any thoughts? ....thanks in advance!!
I haven't had Thanksgiving at Cafe Lucci, but it's a nice place with excellent service:

Well, we're going out too - it's our wedding anniversary and we will be thankfully family free that day so we're going to Jameson's Charhouse on Dundee Road in Arlington Heights. It's just east of Route 53 on Dundee Road.
