    Tommy's Joynt always has a few games on. Food's cheap and good, beer is plentiful.

      Gordon Biersch is probably best possible as far as food goes. A little bit of a trek from union square, but definitely doable.

        Touristy, yes. Good grub, dependable. But always a game on: 4th st Bar and Deli, Jillians (located in the Metereon), and a tad more home-grown: Steff's Sports Bar on 2nd (btw. Minna and Natoma)
