Does anybody else remember this little stand that used to be on Magnolia? A little guy inside tossing his own dough? THAT'S the kind of pizza that I'm looking for...thinnish, chewyish...but crisp on the very bottom. Where do you go in Burbank for pizza now, Dino's? Pinball Pizza?

There will never be another Pizza Pie. Even with the dead bugs in between the menu and the glass, it was by far the best.

Surprisingly, I've been liking the chain, Garlic Jim's. Not a replacement for the amazing Pizza Pie, but definitely a decent pizza (especially coming from a chain).

Dino's is not bad. If you have the chance, try Zelo Pizzeria in Arcadia/Monrovia. If you like the lasagna pizza, Zelo's deep dish homeruns will impress, I believe.

I second that. I love Dino's lasagna pizza. I also like Northend and Ameci, but I know I'm probably in the minority on Ameci.

Loved Pizza Pie drive in! Dino's is pretty good, if you eat it there, immediately. The service got pretty bad so we stopped going, not sure how it is nowadays. Central Park pizza, inside the batting cages up Olive just off Victory, is about the best, i think. Have heard great things about "Angelino Pizzeria" on Lankershim in Noho, and about the new Pietros on Verdugo near Olive in Burbank.
