Does anyone know of a place that would sell a hinged pan for making Pate en Croute, in Denver? Something like this one:

Now that Cooks Mart in Cherry Creek North has folded up (at any rate they don't answer their phone anymore) the best place to find less commonly stocked cooking gadgets and supplies is The Peppercorn on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder.

If you haven't been there before, even if you don't find the hinged pan you're looking for it's a great place to browse. They have things you never knew existed before but now can't live without.

Cooks Mart closed several years ago. Peppercorn is always a good bet, and if you don't want to drive to Boulder, they'll ship. Another option might be one of the restaurant supply houses that is open to the public. My impression is that Restaurant Source (http://www.restaurantsource.com/) has the best assortment of baking utensils. They're at 5005 Washington St.

Thanks for the advice. I am still bummed about Cooks Mart closing, you would think Denver would be able to support a store like that.

Good idea on the Restaurant Source, that is very close to me, and a road trip to Boulder for a visit to the Peppercorn (and a beer or two on the mall) will be a good back up.

Thanks again!
