Sex on a plate/bun/napkin/hand/cup/bowl or things that make you go *insert homer slobber sound here*

Hello Manhattan people!

i have the good fortune of returning to New York for another week and wonder what food item would be considered "sex on a plate". It could be anything, anywhere... i have plenty of time to wander

didnt have as much time to research this time so i am depending on some chowhounders

here is where i ate last time http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/645817

    1. For me "sex on a plate" would probably involve uni. I haven't tried a vast variety of preparations... here's one post about uni in NYC.

um, you can crack a tooth on that...not a joke.

porchetta sucks in my opinion...dry, small, overpriced, and tasteless.

Porchetta is a favorite and definitely not tasteless nor dry. I would agree that the crispy pork can sometimes be hard on the teeth, but the food is absolutely delicious. Wish the potato portion was bigger though...
