best apple dessert in los angeles

Too late and probably the wrong kind of thing, but one of my favorite apple desserts is the apple-cinnamon ice cream at the Pacific Dining Car.

Also, Sweet Lady Jane makes a mean Tart Tatin. (Btw, guys, I could be wrong, but I don't think there's an "r" in Tatin; if I recall correctly, it's the family name of the ovenless sisters who supposedly invented the dish.)

Another option would be a straight-up American apple pie. The Filling Station in Orange makes a pretty damn good version, and it's huge. Maybe to far out of your way though. Maybe the Apple Pan?

or you can pick up a Tart Tartin from Dolce Isola which is the bakery/cafe owned by the Ivy-on Robertson near Hamilton High School. SOOO good. The best APPLE dessert ever!!!

I can't remember the cost but it is huge and a bit less pricey than buying the same exact dessert from the Ivy.
