New spots worth visiting in the last year

I am coming back to the city and looking for a great new place to bring 5 people. It should have vegetarian options (it does not need to be solely vegetarian.) Looking to go somewhere below midtown. Loved Commerce, Lucca, and other small spots. We are looking for mains around 18-24.
