Has anyone been there lately and is the same chef still there? His name is Domenic Armanal.
Checked out menu online and it did not have his name listed and I am wondering if he has left as we are considering going there to celebrate our anniversary. If he has left, we might just go next door to Lee's.
Anyone know?

Had dinner at the Black Hoof with a friend who works in the industry, by the way dinner was great. This is a rumour, he heard Jason Carter from Madeline and Lee's is now becoming the chef at Centro. If two main guys from Susur's have left, who's in charge?

Jason Carter is indeed moving over to Centro. Bruce Woods is now at Brassai.

I see that the original owners of Brassaii have recently sold it. Is Bruce Woods perhaps now an owner?

Oh dear....thank you for the tip. Place just had stellar reviews saying he was at the helm, but thought it was suspect that it says "Coming Soon" when I clicked on Chef, unless Mr Susur Lee is planning on returning...

Sorry for jumping the gun....just found out where it is and see some horrible reviews. Perhaps he is going through some growing pains at the new place.....good to know. Think we'll stick with Lee's or C5. Wanted it to be special...More research req'd. :-)
