I'm looking for take out in the kitsilano/west side area. We just brought our new baby home, and in addition to a 2 and 4 year old, cooking has become obscelete, at least for now.
Thanks in advance!

You might try Hot Cuisine2083 Alma St, 604-267-1131They have a variety of fresh and frozen entrees that are tasty: I think they are in the range of $8-10 a serving but some may run a bit higher. If you like Thai, Maenam, Montri's and Thang Thai are all in the hood. I believe Whole Foods over at Cambie does a range of prepared foods. Also Les Amis du Fromage http://www.buycheese.com/ on 2nd near Burrard has a variety of prepared soups and entrees that just need to be heated up in the oven.Maybe indicate the types of food you like and a budget.

Definitely Les Amis - great selection of frozen soups, etc.
Also Rangoli (Vij's) and Soup Stock on Granville Island,

There is a place in Kerrisdale that caters to people that are just in your type of situation. Check out the Stock Up Cafe. They have "home-made" prepared and oven ready meals in single and family sizes. Their casseroles even come with in white pyrex oven dishes.

I like picking up takeout from Cafe D'Lite.

I've also heard good things about InDishpensable (www.indish.ca), though I haven't tried it myself yet.
