hand pulled noodles?

Anyone have any favorite places for hand pulled noodles? Any price range, but ideally, a place where we could sneak a glimpse of of the action, of someone making them!

Thank you!

If we're mentioning soba, I've also seen a guy at Soba Koh make noodles by hand. He didn't seem to like me watching him, though.

Far Eastern at 28 Forsyth Street is may favorite all-around hand-pulled noodle joint. Food Sing 88 on East Broadway features the best broth.

Sheng Wang across the street from Super Taste also. The fish balls stuffed with pork is interesting. The locals seem to like noodles served with lots of bones. Everybody leaves a pile of bones next to the bowl.

The house special at Super Taste is very good.

I prefer Food Sing 88 to Supertaste; I had noodles with seafood at both. Food Sing 88 has a nicer atmosphere and better service (it's a slightly larger and cleaner hole in the wall than Supertaste), and I think the ingredients there are of a higher quality.

i'd go with 144 e bway, i think they are probably #1 or #2 in terms of quality and you will be able to see them pull the noodles although be forewarned its probably the most run down out of all the places

I'd go with super taste over food sing, food sing isn't bad, but super taste is a bit better although food sing is much nicer decor wise

here's my review of food sing:

Interesting. I had the noodles w/ fresh pork (?) at supertaste and loooved it, but I think I was the happiest in our group. The others ordered with beef, maybe?

Super Taste at 26 Eldridge St. is excellent. It's a hole in the wall and I don't remember seeing the action, but so yummy I didn't care.

If you want to see the noodles made at Super Taste stand at the check out. The last few times I have been there the noodles were passed through a pasta machine.
