seeking southern NH facility for holiday party
Help! We're looking for a small hall to hold a club holiday party (25-50 people) on a Sat night in January preferably in the Manchester NH area but Nashua to Concord considered. Due to travel distance, some members need to rent a hotel room for the night so a hotel facility or a nearby hotel is necessary. For the past few years the party has been held in a private room at a billiards bar in Nashua. Members enjoyed cash bar but food was expensive and mediocre. We need a facility that allows alcohol to be brought in or can provide a cash bar. Food preferences are fairly basic - good grub, reasonably priced. Members are more the casual bbq and pizza type.
I have a lead on a facility in Manchester so I need recommendations for a caterer. Thanks!

re: MichellePC
I might not be any help. My son requested my help in finding a new location. He is about to become president of his mostly guys but family friendly motor vehicle club. At this point, I'm not sure they are even going to have a party in early 2010. They tend to be last minute planners. I've saved the above leads and made more inquiries because they will probably decide at their January meeting that 'oh yeah, when are we having our party?". I was willing to help because the menu at the last holiday party was pitiful.
I also belong to a small club, part of an international organization. We usually do a potluck at a member's home. That, I can answer questions on, but basically, it's a traditional pot luck with a twist on the traditional Yankee swap. (limit $10)

I've never been to a function here, but this may be something to look into.
It is the Crowne Plaza in Nashua:
