I noticed outside the Perk's coffee shop for a few years or so now they have been advertising these cornish pasties. I've avoided going in and trying one since it seemed like a big risk for seven bucks or so, but I tried one today and I was amazed. I thought I would get the word out to whoever may read these, tourists or otherwise. Anyway they are VERY good, probably quite fattening and really all you need for lunch all by itself. The pastry definitely tastes home made(restaurant made). Give them a try see if you agree.

There is a booth at the Farmers' Market in both Halifax and Dartmouth where their speciality is pasties. They are also in the $7.00 range, and I'm wondering if the ones at Perk's are from this booth. They are really good!
