Best Music and Brunch combo?

I've researched the brunch threads (Kathryn's is absolutely fabulous and comprehensive). I want to try to find a spot with good food but some interesting music. I'd really prefer something different from the standard jazz that often comes with brunch. Anyone have any ideas? Preference would be to stay below 23rd Street. Thanks so much. Not til next Sunday.

    1. I recently had a great brunch at Nolita on Houston Street. The food is spectacular (Mac and cheese to die for) and it has a lively bluegrass band playing. Each item comes with a free brunch cocktail as well! They only take brunch reservations for 6 or more people. We got there around 1:00 and got one of the last tables.

Oh yes. It has a mix of all kinds of people. Beware that it gets loud in the front near the band. You might want to ask for a table in the back to ensure you can hear each other.
