Can anyone recommend where to go for organic produce and meat in Calgary? I have only been to Calgary Farmers Market and I am looking for other suggestions. If there is anything downtown that would be great, but I wouldn't mind a drive if it mean cheaper price and/or better products.

Thanks!

Not sure how the prices compare as I have only gone to CFM once.

SPUD.CA delivers in Calgary.. There is a Second To None meats in Mission (http://www.stnm.ca/). Blush Lane is worth the drive every once in awhile, for the organic raw milk cheese (http://www.blushlane.com/). Only in Calgary would you have to drive to the suburbs to get organic food, sigh...

Planet Organic and Amaranth can be good but it depends what day you hit them. Amaranth is especially good on Thursdays or Friday morning when they get their fresh stuff in.

I agree with Second to None -- if you want something special, like lamb shanks, phone ahead. Also Sunworks meat products is very good and is avail. at Blush Lane. I find their selection iffy sometimes, again, depends on the day you get there. Overall, I find the CFM location superior for fresh produce v. their Aspen Woods location.

Superstore, if you can drive to one, has very good organic fresh produce for good prices. I find their President's Choice Organic milk and cheese a good deal.
