Hawaiian Sweet Bread dinner rolls recipe

I love the King's brand of Hawaiian sweet bread rolls. I have tried numerous recipes for Hawaiian sweet bread, but nothing comes close. Would someone, perhaps Father Kitchen ,post a tried and true rendition of this delicious flakey and sweet bread?
