Goose sandwich @ the stuffed goose stall, Borough Market, London
At Jubilee Hall, previously the carpark.
An excellent sandwich. Firm but not fibrous slices of goose with good flavour. Fluffy and ever so slightly sweet roll, with a little gloss of butter.

Sigh, I miss your posts. This caught my eye on the sidebar. Sounds amazing. What else do they have at a stuffed goose stall?

They sell jars of goose fat, and geese stuffed with duck stuffed with chicken (gooducken?).

Limster - do you know what day the goose stall is open?

I was there on a Friday, so I'm guessing that it would also be open on Saturdays. Not sure about thursdays.

I was delighted to see the goose stall back again! I bought a thick slice of stuffed goose that we made into sandwiches later on Saturday. They will be there for the next 3 weekends and will then disappear again till next November. Make the most of it!
