any good beer places open late sunday in portland?

  • 3

We're starting our vacation in Portland on a Sunday and was wondering if there are any good beer places or brewpubs that are open LATE on a Sunday night? We're looking for some place to drink after seeing a band Sunday, so someplace open until 1 or 2am. Or are there regulations about how late bars can open on a Sunday?

  1. Cassidy's is open every night until 2am, has great drinks and food...and real food, not just bar food. Very popular among the service crowd. http://cassidysrestaurant.com/

Don't know where your show is or where you are staying - does it matter?

Staying at Ace Hotel downtown but the show is at Holocene (10th ave & SE Morrison). Might be hitting Voodoo Donut downtown after the show too :)

We'll be checking out Deschutes and Rogue too since they're near Ace Hotel. We're only here 4 days/3 nights. There's so much for a foodie to do in Portland!

Cassidy's looks great! Thanks for the tip!

Cassidy's is an easy walk back to your hotel then. Clyde Common and Kenny & Zuke's are located right at the Ace and great choices for food and drink.

I'm not a fan of the Henry's vibe, but there's lots of taps to try there...and it is also walkable from the hotel.

Morrison Hotel is very close to Holocene, but only open until midnight. Green Dragon is also close, not sure what time they close on Sunday. Both should be open before the show though... ;o)
