ISO mini pink marshmallows...

I've looked high and low for these to no avail. I've been to supermarkets and candy stores and can only find the white ones. I'm sure I've seen them before though, can anyone help?
I need them to decorate animal themed cupcakes for my daughters 2nd birthday party, and they will become pig's snouts and ears, so I can't substitute with the pink mints I've been seeing for fear of choking...

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    1. Loblaw's used to have bags of mini multi-coloured marshmallows, including pink ones - I think they were the no-name brand (although I could be wrong). I haven't looked for them in a while, so it's possible they don't have them anymore, but I'd check there to see, if you haven't already.

Actually I went to Loblaws (Angus) yesterday morning. As I don't have a car and it's a bit of a trek I called first and was assured they had bags of mini multi coloured marshmallows. Perfect...not! I arrived, scoured the aisles, asked a preposé... no mini marshmallows of any colour in stock. Grrr. I'd have been happy with the pink regular sized ones, and cut them down, but none of them either.
Thank you very much for the suggestion though. If you see them in your local store let me know and I'll go there. The party is next sunday so still time to find some.

          • Maybe you would have better luck at candy stores? Have you tried calling Biscuiterie Oscar, Scoops, or Sucre Bleu?

            1. If all else fails, you could dye white ones with food coloring and water.
I haven't thought about coloured marshmallows in a long time.

You can probably get a lot of discounted Halloween candy everywhere this week and pick up something small like mini berries or fuzzy peaches, almost pink? I've also only seen white mini marshmallows.

                  • I bought some at IGA (the mixed colored ones)
