        <content>I was just testing a butternut squash recipe which called for sage fried in butter till crispy.  Then the sage is added to the squash.  When I tasted the sage it was bitter.  I just bought it and it look very fresh.  Any reason for this? I didn't add it to the squash and I would have liked to.  Thank you!</content>
