My grandfather passed away and one of his final requests is that the family get together and have great chinese food ( his favorite) and talk about his life. We were thinking Shun Lee Palace but it is very pricey but something in that vain would be great. We just need some place that is comfortable and the service is good; some where were we could sit and talk and not feel rushed. We are will to pay for this type of meal but i just cant justify spending six dollars on a egg roll. I am sure that Fu Run has a private room; perhaps most of the restaurants in the area have them. I love Fu Run but there is some spicy food on the menu. For Cantonese, Imperial Palace might do the trick. Certainly head to Queens! I love the food, but find the restaurant kind of harsh looking for a family occasion with the fluorescent lights and thin plastic tablecloths.
