Hey All:

Heading up to Kittery to do some shopping the weekend after Thanksgiving, and would like some recommendations of good places to eat. Specifically I'm looking for late lunch/early dinner places, and since we'll be in Maine, we're interested in "what else" but LOBSTER, but a place with a variety will be good. Off the beaten path is good. Not looking for "chain" dining. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can't go wrong with Roberts Maine Grill, right on Route 1 in the center of things. A bit pricey but the food is worth it.

Anneke Jans, an intimate bistro, offers dinner starting at 5 pm, 7 days. I don't see lobster on the posted menu but other fish/seafood.
